Our client wanted a marquise-cut lab-grown diamond engagement ring of approximately ~1.70 carats for his fiancée-to-be.

With her slender fingers in mind, we explored diamonds of different proportions, looking beyond carat weight to find an elongated shape with beautiful brilliance and minimal bow-tie effect.

Once the center diamond was selected, we designed the ring around it, incorporating custom-cut kite-shaped lab-grown diamonds on either side. Their delicate size and precise proportions made them particularly challenging to cut, requiring several attempts to achieve the desired result.

Lab-grown diamonds gave us the flexibility to create these unusual cuts specifically for the design, without the same emphasis on preserving carat weight often associated with natural diamonds.

The finished ring was handcrafted in platinum in our Italian workshop and delivered to our client in Australia, bringing together this exceptional creation.
